As part of our week-long celebration of National Careers Week, we held our annual Careers Coffee Morning at The Swan on Thursday. We invited around 20 professionals from a broad cross-section of careers to sit down and talk to our Green Room Windsor pupils and Green Room College students.
Across the morning our pupils and students had hundreds of meaningful conversations and encounters, learning so much about what it’s like to work in areas as diverse as policing, architecture, landscaping, fitness, TV & Film, and so much more.
What was even more special is that this year we were able to welcome back one of our alumni to talk about their career. Kadilen gave real insight into what it’s like to be in an apprenticeship, and how they manage their week working at Bucks County Council.
Thanks to all the professionals who gave up their time. We’re sure they inspired lots of thoughts and ideas about the paths that lie ahead for our learners.
