We ended last half term with a fantastic day trip to London, the pupils all caught the train to Waterloo, as they needed to experience live art as part of the Arts Award. They split into three
groups, group 1, led by Jenny took the Thames Clipper to the Tate modern where they were lucky
enough to be treated to a members only exhibition and tea in the members cafe. Group 2, led by Ash took the Clipper to The Globe to explore around there, then walked back to the station watching street entertainers along the way. Group 3, led by Deej walked to the British Film institute IMAX Cinema to have a 3D experience watching a documentary about the D-Day landings. They then walked to a store called Forbidden Planet to do an interactive lesson on merchandising within the film industry.
