GRF Careers

Welcome to GRF Careers. This resource is for pupils, parents, carers, teachers, employers, post-16 providers, training providers and anyone who has a keen interest in preparing our pupils for their future.

The Green Room Foundation is committed to providing a structured, pupil-centered Careers Programme which promotes equality of opportunity, inclusion and diversity. Our programme is tailored to the needs of individuals and focussed on unlocking potential, raising aspirations and improving the life changes of all our pupils.

Our ambition is that all of our pupils leave The Green Room School equipped to thrive in the next stage of their lives and into the future, with 0% NEET (Not in Education, Employment and/or Training).

Currently, the pace of change is more rapid than at any time in history. Changes in society and work are having a profound effect on traditional patterns of employment. If young people know more about the range of careers open to them they will have a clearer understanding of the post-16 routes available to them when leaving The Green Room.

This page will guide you to useful sources of information, advice and guidance.

Our Programme

Strong relationships with our pupils underpin our Careers Programme, which seeks to ensure that every pupil has the necessary direction, clarity and support to help them make sound choices about their next step, career direction and life beyond The Green Room.

Pupil Experience

Over the course of each year, our Careers programme includes a wide range of activities for all students from years 7 to 11+
