Women In The World

As part of our curriculum, one of our weekly sessions is ‘Women of the World’ which tackles issues girls may face as they grow into adulthood in the world today.

This video documents the magnificent work of a group of our female pupils and teachers who meet on a weekly basis to discuss and debate important issues surrounding society and what it is to be "Women in the World". This term the group have been looking at their insecurities and how they view themselves on a day to day basis. The girls have created this video as a demonstration of confidence, self belief, individuality and happiness within themselves. To explore this they organised a workshop to teach each other skills in beauty, make up artistry and hair dressing. This was then showcased as part of a fashion show. Please watch to see the amazing and ground breaking work these pupils and staff members have achieved over the spring term.
