Today some of our pupils are heading up to London to the PiXL (Partners in Excellence) Award ceremony to receive their certificates for The Alternative Edge, which is part of our curriculum. The Edge is a scheme set up by PiXL, designed to develop pupils' attributes that are useable and recognisable in the world of work and in everyday life. It is a skills based system where pupils can pick from a wide range of approved activities that fall under five categories, Leadership, Organisation, Initiative, Resilience and Communication.
Also as they will be in London on the much anticipated Referendum day, they will be doing a walking tour of Westminster, taking in Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, Central Hall and Downing Street, plus many more famous attractions London has to offer. See the map for their route!
