This October we have been hearing about the achievements of black people throughout history, as we have been recognising Black History Month. Whether it has been finding out more about Nelson Mandela in Circle Time, cooking Caribbean cuisine in Food and Cookery lessons or studying how black culture has influenced the English language, it has been wonderful to see our pupils broaden their knowledge and display curiosity around Black History.
