Global Climate Strike

On Friday 20th September The Green Room School will join the Global Climate Strike in a peaceful protest against climate change - https://globalclimatestrike.net/ #ClimateStrike

We are enthused by our pupils' interest and willingness to make a positive change in the environment and have decided to support them on this cause.

Pupils who have indicated their interest to take part will on Friday morning create signs and banners in support of protecting the environment. Staff and pupils will then walk to Windsor Castle and back with the signs in a walking peaceful protest - look out for us!

The Green Room School as an organisation is proud to join in the efforts to reduce plastic waste and consumption. We are currently changing our buying processes to eliminate single-use plastic. We are also ramping up efforts to grow our own food at the Green Room allotment in an attempt to purchase less from supermarkets and ensure our pupils have access to fresh, organic vegetables. 🌶 🌽 🥒 🥔 🥕 🥗 🍠 🌶 🍅 🥒 🌽 🥕 🍠 🥔
