Exciting News!

A new term is starting here at The Green Room, and we are delighted to announce that we are opening our doors as an official Independent School! After a lot of hard work last year and a successful Ofsted visit at the end of last term, The Green Room is now entered onto the resister of Independent Schools.

This is great news for us as it means we can continue to help young people, not just in our borough but surrounding areas too, who are no longer succeeding in mainstream education. The Green Room started in October 2011 as a small project with one student, we have now grown, taken on our own premises, and are able to accommodate up to 20 students.

We have exciting plans to expand our curriculum this year, we will provide more great Skilled For Life options and we now have a full time therapist on site. We will also continue our Project Fridays, kicking off next week with a Roald Dahl day, so watch this space to find out all about it, and keep an eye on our activities, day trips and news throughout the year.
