On Friday 12th January we welcomed the families of our pupils to GRK for a family open day. Pupils took responsibility for preparing the event; designing displays, making signs and maps as well as setting up and decorating the school before their families arrived.
On arrival the pupils took charge of refreshments as their families sat around the fire. The Green Room's new premises was officially opened, followed by a delicious Chilli and then the students took their own family members on a tour of the site, stopping to take part in a range of actives along the way from Maths, English, tractor rides, sport, animal petting and bush craft!
Despite the rain the atmosphere was not dampened in the slightest, we are so very proud of the pupils for taking such pride in their school and delighted their families could join us for such a memorable day.
