Horrible Histories

Last week staff and pupils at GRK all went to see the new Horrible Histories movie (Rotten Romans) as part of our humanities lesson, and everone loved it! We set off in the minibuses, excitement bouncing from us, packed lunches in hand, with lots of happy faces and went to Farnham Maltings where they had an ASD friendly showing of Rotten Romans (this consists of no trailers and the volume isn’t too loud) lots of other schools were there, it was a great atmosphere with laughs all round. Very good film - highly recommend!

After the film finished we all set off to Hogmoor Inclosure for a few hours, where we had our packed lunches in the sunshine (we were so lucky we had such a beautiful day for it! It’s safe to say the kids AND the staff absolutely loved the play park, play frames and apparatus which included a big zip wire, tyre swings, huge slides and a sand pit. This was a chance for all the children to bond, become closer and build new and stronger friendships. It was also a chance for the kids to have fun with the staff too! It was great exercise for them all and an opportunity to blow off some steam, have a run around and get some fresh air. Overall an excellent day and we will definitely be going back to Hogmoor Inclosure again very soon.
