Here at The Green Room, we all love animals, particularly our Co-Head Joe, who has recently been researching into the way animals are treated in mass farming to try to understand the science behind it, what the animal goes through, the impact on our health and the environment and the effect on the future of our planet. To take this a step further, he has given himself the challenge to become vegan for a month, starting today!
He’ll be working with the pupils to research the impacts of a vegan diet on health, environment and of course animals. This will probably be a tough challenge as nobody loves a burger more than Joe. But, in order to raise awareness amongst our pupils and fully commit to the complete vegan lifestyle he’s going to make changes to his clothing, cleaning and hygiene products. We shall keep you updated to see how he’s getting on.
