National Novel Writing Month

November was National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) and at The Green Room we decided to embrace our creative side and a few pupils and staff set themselves the challenge of writing a 30,000 word novel by 11.59pm on the 30th November. We had a mixture of genres, including fiction, horror/sci-fi and historical fiction and our cumulative word count at the deadline was an amazing 41,772!
This was a fantastic achievement and the pupils involved spent every spare minute writing their novel for the Young Writers Program. To find out more visit lookout for #nanowrimo or go to nanowrimo.org
